We are excited to announce that registration for the next session of Learn to Skate USA classes at the Mason-Dixon Figure Skating Club's Skate Morgantown (1001 Mississippi Street in Morgantown, WV) is now open!
Driven by the mission of Learn to Skate USA to provide a fun and positive experience that will instill a lifelong love of skating, our Learn to Skate USA program is the place for you or your child to get started on the ice. Our program teaches children and adults the fundamentals of ice skating while building confidence and skills through each lesson. We follow a progressive curriculum, focused on the health and fitness benefits of skating, that ensures success from the first steps on the ice to the mastery of advanced skills.
The United States Figure Skating Association and USA Hockey endorsed program is held in half hour increments on Sundays (October 6, 13, 20, 27, Nov 3, 10) from 5:00-5:30 and 5:30-6:00 pm.
The cost is $130 per skater. Cost includes 6 Learn to Skate lessons (30 minutes each), rental skates, and free admission onto BOPARC’s public skating times during the 6 weeks of the program. BOPARC’s public skating times are the following: Saturdays 1:30 - 3:30pm and 7:00 - 9:00pm; as well as Sundays 1:30 - 3:30pm. This is great practice time for our students, and we highly recommend taking advantage of it!
